Just a minute's stroll from the fabulous local pub/restaurant, Sancia is a perfect base for exploring the stunning coastal scenes and soft sandy beaches, all nestled under Norfolk's big skies.
As you step inside this light and airy abode you are greeted by two comfortable bedrooms; choose from a double or twin, both with large picture windows and with the twin having four-foot double beds, suitable for both adults and children.
The kitchen is a cook's delight and has all you need to rustle up a culinary feast, enjoying views of the enclosed rear garden. Prepare supper, or a picnic feast, whilst watching over youngsters playing safely in the garden with your four-legged friends and day dreaming about the fun and adventure at the beach ahead.
After a busy day exploring the surrounding villages and stunning coastline unwind and relax in the sitting/dining-room whilst enjoying a movie, open the patio doors to allow the summer scents to flow in from the garden or relax on the garden seating and enjoy a barbecue or sundowners under the stars.
Walkers will love this unspoilt area, there is an array of coastal paths and trail paths to explore, with the Norfolk Coastal Path hugging the coastline. An easy walk from your home-from-home are the beautiful sandy beaches, take in the stunning scenes crossing the golf course whilst taking in the sounds and sights of birdsong or visit the village RSPB reserve.
Explore the beach, marshes and spectacular sights year-round, a popular spot for bird watchers and nature lovers alike, you can often spot some of the local seal colony along with their pups basking in the sun at low tide, especially during breeding season.
The neighbouring picturesque villages are well worth a visit, Old Hunstanton boasts a fabulous beach cafe, an excellent spot for perusing the colourful skies with wind and kite surfers catching the waves. Also great for exploring the dunes with you four-legged friends or simply playing hide and seek in the dunes beyond the colourful beach huts. Thornham village is great to explore and has a fabulous walk, artists love to sketch the creeks and trails where The Old Coal Barn sits amongst the changing tides. The village also boasts a popular deli and play park as well village pubs/restaurants, all of which are dog friendly.
Alternatively for a fun day out, climb aboard the Coasthopper and enjoy scenic trips to 'Sunny Hunny' or around the coast to Brancaster, another popular beach location with plenty of pubs to explore en route. Travel a little further to the picturesque, working harbour at Wells-next-the-Sea and wander the lanes for a fun day shopping in the eclectic mix of shops in the renowned Staithe Street.
Explore the many historic houses and gardens in the area including Holkham Hall with stunning grounds to navigate amongst the impressive deer herd and walled gardens of this fabulous estate. Grown ups may prefer a short drive to the popular hotspot of Burnham Market, discover the boutique and artisan shops nestled around the stylish village green; there is something for everyone here.
Holkham, Sheringham and Cromer are fun for the whole family, or get onboard the land train which takes you along the clifftops to the town centre or a fun trip out on the Wash Monster and explore the area at low tide, a great area for seal spotting!
