Bunk-bedsSeascape is a beautifully presented home away from home in a sought-after location just a short stroll from the soft sandy beaches of Old Hunstanton, with views across to the distinctive Lighthouse. Furnished to a high standard, Seascape offers four bedrooms and four bath/shower rooms perfect for families or friends to enjoy making special memories together.
Boasting a large open plan living area allowing the light to flood in, Seascape is beautifully styled; the large windows and patio doors offer a seamless transition onto the patio and overlooking the beautifully manicured garden. Spectacular year-round sunsets can also be enjoyed from the comfort of your sofa and when the evening draws in, relax together and take in a family movie.
A well-appointed kitchen allows the cook in your party to conjure up a feast without missing out on the conversation or wine top ups, and for that extra special celebration and dining experience, why not hire a chef for the night!
Just off the kitchen you will find the conservatory with comfy chairs; a lovely quiet spot to relax with a good book and boasting a distant sea view.
This beautiful home boasts a downstairs king-size bedroom, complete with en suite shower-room, and fabulous views across to the sea. A second twin bedroom awaits; perfect for adults or children, with plenty of storage enabling you to unpack and unwind in this light-filled room with the use of a family bathroom, just across the hall.
Ascend the nautical themed stairs to discover the comfortable snug with its spectacular views from the large picture window. Along the hallway you will find the bunk room, great fun for youngsters and complete with skylight window, perfect for star gazing under the unpolluted Norfolk skies. A second king-size bedroom with en suite is at the end of the corridor, enjoying views across the beautiful garden, this layout is ideal for two families who prefer to have their youngsters close by and with a shower-room as well as the bathroom, there will be no queuing here!
The spacious and private garden enjoys an east-facing aspect and a large sun terrace with plenty of seating; enjoy sunny afternoons catching up or light the barbecue after stocking up with fresh local produce from either the local deli in 'Sunny Hunny' or the neighbouring village, where you'll find Norfolk Lavender Farm Shop.
With parking for three cars on the gravel drive, whether family groups or friends celebrating a special occasion Seascape makes for the perfect getaway to make memories together under the vast Norfolk skies.
Hunstanton's centre is a lovely 15 to 20 minute walk along the clifftop, passing the Esplanade gardens with its children's play area. The popular High Street boasts a variety of bars and restaurants and there is also a leisure centre with swimming pool for when the weather isn't being kind.
Explore Old Hunstanton just a five minute stroll away, an ideal spot to enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Beach cafe or visit the neighbouring RNLI station; from which you can stroll along the sandy beach or follow the coastal path towards Holme-next-the-Sea, passing the colourful beach huts nestled into the dunes.
For a special occasion why not book a table at The Neptune, a fabulous Michelin star restaurant, or visit The White Horse Norfolk at Brancaster Staithe, close to the harbour, and enjoy the day's speciality whilst watching the tide ebb and flow from the balcony and gardens.
Approximately six miles around the coast road you will find Drove Orchards on the outskirts of Thornham, where you'll find a gallery and farm shop, as well as play space for the children to let off steam. A little further along the coast is the popular seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea; visit the bustling working harbour or enjoy a boat trip, where you can spot the seals basking on the shoreline at low tide. Colourful beach huts are set against the pinewoods and a gentle walk can be taken from neighbouring Holkham beach, at low tide, to Wells, popular with locals as well as Royal visitors in times gone by.
An ornithologists delight, a visit to Snettisham RSPB reserve is a must see as on certain days of the year, usually during the biggest high tides, in spring, late summer and autumn, you can peruse the tens of thousands of wading birds that take to the skies with knots, oystercatchers and terns en masse, known as the Snettisham spectacular.
Seascape isn't just a great base to explore Norfolk from; for families who want to remain closer to their holiday home, there's plenty for the kids to do too, with donkey rides and crazy golf for the little ones as well as an array of water sports for the teens and more adventurous adults to enjoy. It's a destination where there's something for everyone!
