Zip and linkPerfectly situated in one of the best locations in Perranporth, on the edge of the sand dunes and a short stroll from the beach, Safari is a fabulous place for a seaside getaway for a family or group of friends.
With high ceilings and a hygge-style relaxed vibe, views over fields towards the seaside town of Perranporth (and sea glimpses from the principal bedroom) Safari is the ideal destination property.
Arriving down the bumpy lane (not suitable for low slung cars) and parking up, you meander down the path to your front door which opens to the most amazing living space that really has the wow factor. The light and airy space oozes tranquility, enjoy relaxing after a day on the beach on the snuggly sofas watching the light change on the countryside and town. The large dining-table provides ample room for eight to enjoy long group meals together and is perfectly located next to the kitchen which is tucked around the corner.
The well-equipped kitchen has everything you might need including two steam ovens, a large fridge and a breakfast-bar so your loved ones can perch to keep you company. Floor to ceiling windows span the living space with sliding doors out to the grand decking and a handy door out from the kitchen to where the fabulous gas barbecue is located. There is also a handy utility-room with a washing machine and tumble-drier and just outside is a hot water shower, perfect for washing your salty locks after a day surfing the waves.
The bedrooms have been perfectly designed to ensure everyone has their own space; the principal bedroom is to die for with a king-size bed, dressing-room, en suite shower-room and glimpses of the sea. The second bedroom just along the corridor has a comfy double bed and en suite shower-room which overlooks the lavender beds at the back of the property. Bedroom three is found behind the living space tucked away at the back of the property with a cosy double bed and access to the family shower-room. The last bedroom is up three steps along the hallway from the front door with 'zip and link' beds which can be set up as a luxurious super-king or twins with an en suite bathroom where you can enjoy long soaks at the end of the day.
Outside there is a large decking where you can enjoy balmy summer evenings under the festoon lights, at the back of the house is a table and chairs which is a real sun-trap too. The wild garden looks pretty and with its wild grasses it is perfect for local wildlife.
Unless you decide to explore further afield, you won't need your car; the large dunes are only moments away from your front door, a huge a playground for children and dogs alike and just a 20 minute walk through the dunes you are greeted with the long golden sands of Perranporth, part of which is dog-friendly all year round. Don't forget your surfboard or bodyboard to ride the waves or play your favourite beach games, as at low tide the beach goes on forever. If you fancy a dip, the manmade sea pool just by the big rock on the beach, called Chapel Rock Pool, is always a novelty.
The seaside town of Perranporth is only a short ten minute walk away with a plethora of cafes, pubs and restaurants, ice-cream shops and boutique shops too. Enjoy a refreshing drink with the sand between your toes at The Watering Hole or a delicious ice-cream in town. If you are an avid golfer the Perranporth golf club is just behind the property with spectacular views and was a finalist in the UK golf course competition. If you have younger people in your party, there is plenty to do including a brand new skate park nearby along with a great playground and tennis courts with both grass and hard courts. If you like walking this is the perfect place, with miles of the coast path to explore tracking up and down the dramatic and beautiful north coast.
