Luscious interiors await you at this stunning dog-friendly retreat for eight lucky people set in hip and very trendy St Agnes on the north Cornwall coast. This stunning detached house is located at Wheal Turnavore, a gorgeous collection of bespoke stylish homes inspired by the Cornish coast and countryside. This gorgeous retreat oozes style and comfort, think modern day beach house. Step through the front door into a very welcoming hallway, head into the dreamy open plan living-room, sink into the cosy sofas and instantly switch off from the hustle and bustle of your busy lives.

At Wharemoana you'll enjoy an abundance of space and light, the whole property radiates luxurious relaxation blending effortless style with comfort. This is the ultimate property for that extra special family getaway or memorable group holiday. Wharemoana [FAR-eh-mow-AH-nah] is a word taken from the Maori people of New Zealand which is roughly translated as 'house by the sea'. This unique name was chosen by the owners because the rugged coastline and unspoilt beaches of the north coast of Cornwall reminded them so much of their favourite parts of New Zealand, and we think it suits the house perfectly!

Downstairs the whole family can enjoy their own space in the vast yet comfortable open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area. In the living-room you have plenty of space to sprawl out in, or if you prefer cosy up in front of the roaring wood-burner. You may prefer to enjoy the sofa with a good book and open the doors onto the garden. The kitchen has all that you need to create those feasts that you never find time for at home. The dining-table seats eight, while the breakfast-bar enables conversations with the cook at work.

The large ground floor utility-room will swallow all your coats, shoes and drying towels. It has a washing machine and a tumble-drier too.

The simple gardens surround the rear of the house and offer plenty of space for cooking and dining outside (there's a great barbecue for the outdoor chef). There's room to play, a lovely deck to soak up the sunshine on and plan the week ahead. If possible, the garden will be even lovelier once the newly planted foliage becomes more established and provides privacy from the neighbouring properties.

Upstairs, there are four stunningly sumptuous bedrooms, all boasting crisp white linens and super-comfy beds. The main bedroom with fabulous en suite oozes luxury - oh to sleep in a room like this! A king-size bed with a large walk-in shower in the en suite and plenty of storage space. In addition, there's a further three bedrooms. A very pretty double bedroom, a bunk bedroom which is ideal and only suitable for children, given the beds are 2'6", and at the end of the landing you have a bedroom with 'zip and link' beds. All share the rather fabulous family bathroom. Downstairs next to the utility-room there is a walk-in shower (perfect for quick showers after a day on the beach) and a WC.

Wharemoana is a ten minute walk into St Agnes and it is such a very friendly village. If you like to cook at home, there's two butchers, a fishmonger, a greengrocer and a deli or two, plus the fab St Agnes Bakery which you need to visit. There are galleries selling local arts and crafts and a highly respected surf shop where you can book surf lessons, stock up on great beach gear or even order a bespoke surfboard.

The renowned surfing beach at Trevaunance Cove is a short walk away, with equally popular beaches at Chapel Porth, Porthtowan and Perranporth, all patrolled by lifeguards from Easter to October and all perfect for surfing, swimming, rock-pooling and sandcastle building. There are miles of coastal footpaths across the nearby cliffs, where stunning sunsets turn the sky pink as the sun sinks over the water and stars sparkle in the dark night skies.

With walks galore on your doorstep enjoy breathtaking views from the coastal footpaths, ideal for walking with your four-legged friend. Wharemoana offers a wonderful holiday for the whole family, and with stunning sunsets and starry nights this flourishing coastal property has it all for a truly memorable holiday.
