With uninterrupted views across the blue waters of the Percuil River across to St Anthony Head, enjoy a very special holiday at Bennerley House. Sit on the balcony watching the ever-changing colours of the sky and waters below as boats enter and leave the little harbour. Take a stroll along the bay to the sandy beach in one direction, Summers beach, and St Mawes Castle in the other, stop a while at a cafe for afternoon tea or at the hotel bar for an evening cocktail or two, however you like to spend time, you will find something here for everyone.

This elegant three-storey terraced waterfront house, with pretty iron railings and balcony, is perfectly situated in one of the most desirable locations in St Mawes. Comfortable, stylish and welcoming, step inside to discover gorgeous comfy sofas for relaxing, beautiful bedrooms with quality beds for sleeping and a light, bright sociable ground floor kitchen/dining space, perfect for spending time together with family and friends.

Choose from three lovely bedrooms, a spacious twin room at the top of the house with views across the water, the calm and relaxing super-king bedroom with en suite shower-room, or the delightful second twin room on the first floor. A further shower-room is also located on the ground floor, so no queuing will be needed here. This fabulous house continues to deliver on every level, there is a sitting-room complete with Smart TV on the first floor taking advantage of the sea views, plus a study on the ground floor, perfect if you would like a space to read a book, or if you must work whilst away.

The outside space is all about the balcony, with beautiful panoramic views of the coast, why not take a seat and enjoy the comings and goings of boats in the harbour and the ever-changing coastal scenery. Ideally situated to head off to the beach for the day, jump on the ferry across to Falmouth to explore this maritime town or take your time by car or foot getting to know the Roseland peninsula, with so much to see right on your doorstep, you will travel home with wonderful memories of staying at Bennerley House.

Please be advised that St Mawes bakery is located behind the property, accessed through a passage next to the house, so you may hear the sound of the bakers going about their work as they prepare the day's freshly baked goods.

Perfectly located for a coastal getaway, Bennerley House is a short walk from Summers beach, popular with paddleboarders and swimmers alike. Alternatively, you might prefer to hire a kayak from the harbour and explore the hidden coves and creeks. At the top of hill sits St Mawes Castle where you can enjoy the stunning panoramic views across the Carrick Roads. With a vibrant harbour and great selection of cafes, waterside restaurants and a fabulous delicatessen and fish stall in the harbour, St Mawes has much to offer the visiting guest.

From St Mawes harbourside why not catch the passenger ferry to the maritime town of Falmouth, with a great selection of eclectic shops, a fabulous museum and a range of exciting eateries, making for a great day out. You can also catch the smaller ferry from St Mawes to Place Manor, walkers will love the miles of coast paths and the picturesque coastline around St Anthony headland. Why not take a picnic and stop off at one of the many secluded coves for lunch and a swim. The fishing village of Portscatho is just a short car ride away, with beautiful beaches and the well-known Hidden Hut where guests sit side by side on wooden benches and enjoy the freshest local produce (please note bookings are essential for feast nights).

The Eden Project with its mighty biomes should be on your 'to do' list and also The Lost Gardens of Heligan, undiscovered for over 30 years and now lovingly restored to their former glory.
