The working fishing town of Looe provides traditional seaside charm where you can try your luck at crab, mackerel or even deep sea shark fishing.

Picture perfect Polperro sits along the coast path from Looe.

It's the place for dawn dips and building sandcastles on the beach, exploring rock pools and lazing under the warmth of the sun, joining a fishing trip or enjoying embracing autumnal walks along the coastal path, this is the place to reconnect with the great outdoors and each other. It's the perfect family getaway.
The warmest of Cornish welcomes await you at this self-contained, two-storey apartment, located in a quiet exclusive residential area only a mile from the bustling fishing town of Looe.
Tucked away nice and privately at the back of Plaidy Beach apartments, you can enjoy the wonderful sea views from the kitchen and open plan sitting/dining-room on the first floor. Stretching out across the ocean and along the coastline as far as Rame Head, it's a wonderful sight to enjoy from sunrise until sunsets. On warmer days open the French doors to the Juliet balcony and let the sea breezes in or head to the terrace to enjoy al fresco dining or to sit and lose yourself in the pages of a favourite book.
After all that sea air you will soon be nodding off when bedtime beckons. Three bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom, and the family bathroom are on the ground floor and the fourth bedroom is in a separate annexe set on the terrace area. Complete with an en suite shower-room and lounge area and kitchenette, it's a great little bolthole when you require more space and for those who want a little more privacy.
This corner of Cornwall offers something for everyone, from picturesque coves and crystals clear waters scattered along the coastline, charming fishing towns and villages, breathtaking moorland to the north of the region, verdant woodlands and forests and a whole host of attractions along the way.
Having discovered the delights right on your doorstep including the beach at Plaidy, why not stroll over to Millendreath, where paddleboarding, sea scooters and kayaking are on offer.
The nearby fishing town of Looe, the setting of the TV programme 'Beyond Paradise' will delight all ages. Full of traditional seaside charm, you can try your luck at crab, mackerel or even deep sea shark fishing or perhaps relax aboard a sea cruise and see the coastline from a different angle. After wandering the shops dotted along the narrow streets, treat yourself at one of the many places to eat and drink, perhaps fish and chips or a delicious Cornish pasty.
For the ramblers amongst you, there are miles of stunning coastal and woodland walks to discover and head inland to the moors for a complete change in scenery, as you explore Golitha Falls, The Hurlers and Cheesewring.
Looe Island stands majestically out in the bay and wildlife enthusiasts will delight in a trip over to the protected nature reserve and for more wildlife why not meet the monkeys at the nearby Monkey Rescue Sanctuary. If tennis is your game the local tennis courts at Hannafore have the most spectacular seaside setting, for golfers swing your clubs Looe Golf Club's parkland course.
