From the moment you arrive at Sunrise and Stars, you will be captivated. Inside, the shepherd's hut has been cleverly designed to create a cosy ambience, including a double wall folding bed, ideal for allowing more living space during the day. The comfy sofa is positioned overlooking the gardens and rolling countryside, perfect for a quiet read in front of the wood-burner or for just simply taking in the views. The kitchen area has all you will need, including a fridge with an ice-box to keep your summer drinks cool! The luxurious shower-room sits behind the living area with a fabulous, spacious walk-in shower to wash salty toes after a day exploring the local beaches.

A covered deck area is home to a hot tub, al fresco dining area and sun loungers where you can relax in the Island sunshine taking in the countryside views from dawn until dusk. Once evening falls, pretty festoon lights illuminate this most romantic of settings! The swimming pool can be booked out in hour time slots for private use throughout your stay, the ultimate holiday indulgence. Your four-legged friends are also welcome to join you on your getaway, and with a myriad of footpaths and beaches to discover, this Island retreat has all you need for a relaxing break.

Once you arrive at Sunrise and Stars, we guarantee you will be captivated and will settle into Island life in a heartbeat. If you do decide to explore further afield there is plenty to see and do in the local area. Take the coast path for spectacular views of St Catherine's Lighthouse, the most southerly point of the Island or head for Steephill Cove where the crab pasties are legendary!
Ventnor is a traditional seaside resort with a botanic garden and a good selection of cafes and eateries. If you are looking to create a culinary masterpiece with fresh fish, head for Ventnor Haven Fishery where you can buy the catch of the day. There are plenty of farm shops in the area too where you can stock up on fresh produce to accompany your fish.
Further afield Osborne House, once home to Queen Victoria, is a very special place to spend the day, with beautiful gardens, a private beach and stunning house to explore. Closer to home, Freshwater Bay invites surfers, paddle boarders and swimmers to enjoy the crystal-clear waters and you can walk the Tennyson Trail from here along the cliff tops all the way to the iconic Needles.
