Welcome to Stargazers' Retreat, a heavenly glamping yurt nestled in rural splendour on the southerly tip of the Isle of Wight with blissful views of Reeth Bay and beyond. Situated just outside the pretty village of Niton, but tucked away in tranquil seclusion, Stargazers' Retreat (formerly known as Puckaster Cove Hideaway) is the perfect place for an Island escape, whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two, or an adventure for all the family. A perfect spot all year round.

Enter the open plan living space and it feels like walking into a fairytale. Beautifully furnished to complement fabulous craftmanship, Stargazers' Retreat combines eclectic furnishing and contemporary design with panache. The cosy sitting area has a toasty wood-burner, ideal for warming cooler evenings and an added feature of the yurt to make it the perfect year-round getaway is the central heating, meaning you can wake up nice and warm even in the winter months. The kitchen has all you'll need to cook a holiday meal, so gather everyone around the dining-table for a sociable dinner, or perhaps a holiday board game!

At the rear of the yurt a beautifully crafted king-size bed takes centre stage, adorned with gorgeous bed linens for a great night's sleep. For the youngsters in the party, climbing the ladder to the mezzanine level and discovering the gorgeous sleeping space will be a holiday highlight, as will watching the moon and stars through the traditional Toono window. The quirky shower-room is a real feature, with bespoke tiles and a dome ceiling, showering will never have been so appealing.

Wander outside and sit on the fabulous deck with panoramic views over the countryside and out towards the sea. A gorgeous shelter provides respite from the Island sunshine whilst you barbecue, or perhaps this quiet spot is just the place for a peaceful read, choices, choices! You can even sit in blissful seclusion in your own al fresco bathtub and watch the stars come out, the perfect way to bathe in nature. Whether you plan to spend your days relaxing in this idyllic hideaway or exploring the many delights close by, Stargazers' Retreat is a delightful abode for your Island getaway.

At Stargazers' Retreat you can truly relax and rejuvenate with a variety of spa treatments available to book on site (at an additional cost). The lovely owners offer a wellbeing menu including; massages, facials, yoga and aromatherapy treatments for the outdoor bathtubs. Please speak directly to the owner to arrange a treatment and drift into a dreamy state of relaxation during your stay at Stargazers' Retreat.

From the moment the ferry sets sail across the Solent to the magical Isle of Wight, your Island adventure will begin and with the perfect combination of beautiful beaches, miles of coastal walks and stunning countryside on the doorstep, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to exploring. Stargazers' Retreat sits on the southerly edge of the Island, close to the village of Niton where you can stock up on holiday goodies at the local shop or dine out at one of the traditional pubs. Surrounded by idyllic countryside, walkers should head to St Catherine's lighthouse for stunning views or perhaps wander down to Castle Haven beach, a hidden gem.

Just a short drive away, the town of Ventnor is perfect for eclectic shops, a good range of eateries and a traditional beach front where you can hire deckchairs and watch the waves whilst enjoying an ice cream. Whilst you are here, visit Ventnor Haven Fishery where you can pick up the freshest of the days catch to cook at home, or maybe visit the botanic gardens where horticulturalists will enjoy spending time. For a special treat head to The Royal Hotel for afternoon tea, well you are on holiday! A little further afield Freshwater is a water sports paradise, ideal for swimmers, kayakers and paddle boarders and if you've worked up an appetite try the Piano Cafe for fabulous homecooked food in a quirky cafe.

A getaway on the Island would not be complete without seeing the iconic Needles, so why not spend the day, take the chairlift at Alum Bay (not for the fainthearted but there are steps as an alternative), and a speedboat to take you for a close-up view. You never know, you could even spot the odd dolphin!

This coastline on the island has been voted in the top ten spots across the UK for stargazing, there is a very impressive display on clear evenings of beautiful star constellations.

You can even hire an E-bike from Zoom E-Bike Hire in the village and explore the many picturesque cycling routes nearby, all with minimal traffic.

However you plan to spend your island getaway, Stargazers' Retreat has all the ingredients for the perfect holiday.

Your stay at Stargazers' Retreat will automatically give you a 12 month membership to Wanderlust Camping Club.
