DoublePicture-postcard pretty, Trenowin Cottage is an oh-so-lovely Cornish cottage perfect for six lucky guests. Nestled in a rural setting just off the road on the outskirts of the village of Nancledra you have the delights of west Cornwall and St Ives within a short drive.
On arrival, you're sure to be wowed by the cottage's gorgeous exterior. The incredible conservatory is the icing on the cake; spacious and light on even the darkest of days, you will be able to relax here with that book you have been planning to read.
The cosy sitting-room is delightful, with a fabulous Loaf sofa perched around the traditional inglenook fireplace, with its wood-burner effect gas stove, just perfect for those cosy nights in. You'll also find a beautiful wooden desk and a sumptuous armchair, where you can indulge in some holiday reading.
Next door, the open plan kitchen is light and spacious. Dining in the fabulous conservatory is the ideal spot for sociable evenings enjoying long lazy suppers and an evening tipple or two…. Just bliss!
Trenowin Cottage has three gorgeous bedrooms. One is a cosy double bedroom located on the ground floor, with an en suite shower-room and French doors leading out to the terrace. Head up the polished oak stairs (please take care) to find two further bedrooms. Bedroom two is a 'zip and link' room, which can be made up as two singles or a king if you prefer, and the main bedroom is a pretty double room with a spacious en suite shower-room. Both rooms have wonderful views stretching out over the countryside. The family bathroom is simply divine, with a roll top bathtub for those long blissful evening soaks.
You're sure to be spending plenty of time outside in the warmer months, with a choice of places to unwind in the sunshine. Step out of the double doors to find the patio, with a dining-table and chairs for suppers al fresco, leading out to the large lawn area - perfect for picnics and garden games. At the front of the cottage, the sun-drenched terrace also has outdoor table and chairs, and seating areas to sit back with a drink in hand and soak up more of those views. What a dream!
Your location is ideal for adventures along the captivating far west Cornish coast. As you leave the cottage for your day's adventures, please take care as the cottage is located just off the bend of the coastal road. The lovely owner has installed a large mirror to help guide you out.
We're sure you'll head to St Ives, a picture-perfect seaside town dotted with fabulous restaurants, coffee shops and independent boutiques. Oh, and of course those white sand beaches and unbelievably blue seas.
Godrevy and Gwithian are also nearby, for leisurely walks across the sand, blissful beach days, surfing, and sunsets. Head to the pretty town of Marazion to find lovely eateries and the world-famous St Michael's Mount, where you can walk or catch the boat across to the island.
Mousehole is well worth a visit too, with its friendly pubs and fantastic eateries, and if you're craving more of those gorgeous beaches,
Porthcurno is one you won't forget in a hurry. Whilst you're there, catch a show at the Minack Theatre, an open-air theatre nestled on the cliffs. It really is magical!
