Found deep in the heart of the stunning countryside of west Cornwall, just on the outskirts of the pretty village of Madron, Goose Chase is a fabulous holiday retreat, perfect for families or friends looking for a Cornish getaway.

From the moment you turn into the grand driveway you will realise you are somewhere very special. This welcoming abode sits in beautifully manicured wraparound gardens with a series of steps leading up from the terraces to the front door. The talented owners have cleverly styled Goose Chase in gorgeous blue and grey hues to match the seascape views and gorgeous artworks complement each room. The sitting-room has oodles of space for everyone to sit and relax and, if you can tear your eyes away from the stunning view, a Smart TV will entertain you after a busy day at the beach.

The kitchen is perfect for sociable cooking, and the separate dining-room has a wonderful table with plenty of room for everyone. A perfectly placed conservatory leads from the dining area, so you can wander through with your morning coffee (made using the Delongi Magnifica S coffee machine) or perhaps an evening aperitif and take in the blissful panoramic bay views. There's a separate utility-room with washing machine, tumble-drier and fridge/freezer and also a cloakroom with WC and basin.

Goose Chase has three well-appointed bedrooms, all beautifully furnished with white linens and luxury Harrison Spink's mattresses, guaranteed to give you a restful night's sleep. All three bedrooms have luxurious king-size beds; bedroom 1 has a gorgeous en suite bathroom, bedroom 2 with beautiful garden views has a delightful en suite shower-room and bedroom 3 has use of the spacious family shower-room with large walk-in shower.

Outside, there are extensive manicured gardens offering peaceful walks and tranquility throughout the year. To the front, a sunken patio offers seating and a firepit where you can relax toasting marshmallows. There's a table and chairs outside the kitchen and another on the rear patio so you can decide where to sit depending on the angle of the sun. The icing on the cake has to be the view over the gorgeous Cornish countryside towards Mount's Bay and of course iconic St Michael's Mount. The view is blissful, and the perfect holiday pastime might just be taking it all in from dawn until dusk. Goose Chase really does have all you need for an unforgettable holiday.

The charming village of Madron sits overlooking Penzance and Mount's Bay, surrounded by beautiful countryside, woodlands and historic monuments from a bygone age. The National Trust gardens at Trengwainton are close by and the eclectic town of Penzance is a mere five minute drive away. Penzance has a Victorian promenade, perfect for a stroll with a sea view (and don't forget to call in at the Jubilee Pool, a fabulous art deco seafront swimming pool) or perhaps you would rather wander round the vast collection of galleries, shops and cafes. Penlee Park is an oasis hidden in the centre of Penzance with beautiful subtropical gardens and an excellent cafe and gallery. Walk along the seafront to Newlyn, a pretty fishing town or perhaps carry on further along the coast to Mousehole, one of the prettiest villages in Cornwall.

St Michael's Mount can be seen from the front elevation of Goose Chase and this magnificent castle is a must see. When the tide is low a causeway appears where you can walk over the cobbles and when the tide is high a ferryboat transfers passengers from island to mainland adding a little something special to the adventure.

A little further afield on the north coast, St Ives is a gorgeous town where artists have been drawn to the effervescent waters for centuries. Walk along the pretty cobbled streets, admire the stunning beaches and call in at The Tate, a modern art gallery with a café overlooking Porthmeor beach. Water sports lovers should head here to catch the Atlantic rollers or perhaps visit Sennen Cove with a vast sandy crescent of a beach at low tide and popular with families. However you plan to spend your blissful holiday days, create happy holiday memories at Goose Chase.
