Bedroom 1

Double

This charming first floor apartment is in Nettlestone, just up the hill from Seaview and within walking distance of the beach. Surrounded by countryside there are lovely views from both the front and the rear of the apartment. A short walk of approximately 15 minutes takes you into the village of Seaview and the seafront. The village has several places to dine out, the Seaview Hotel and The Old Fort both have outdoor seating areas overlooking the sea. Enjoy a stroll down the hill for a bite to eat and an ice cream for the perfect holiday lazy day.

The double bedroom is to the front of the property with views across the neighbouring fields. The open plan sitting/dining-room is cosy and has everything you need to relax and enjoy a film after your day out exploring the Island. The kitchen is a good size, plenty of space to cook up your favourite dishes. The apartment is light and airy throughout.

There are several beaches within walking distance, both Seagrove and Priory Bay are idyllic sandy beaches, perfect for swimming or a picnic soaking up the wonderful surroundings. The Isle of Wight is a walker's delight with many coastal and inland trails covering the whole Island with a different beach or cove to stumble upon every day. Many of the beaches have beach cafes, plenty offering great food in amazing settings. West Wight is home to some of the more dramatic coastline and of course the Needles just off the western extremity of the Island.

Closer to home the neighbouring town of Bembridge is a short drive away and has a great choice of independent shops including a bakery, fishmonger and butcher. This east coast of the Island is also home to several lovely beaches and the last surviving windmill on the Isle of Wight, now managed by the National Trust. There is a good choice of pubs in Bembridge serving great home-cooked food for a bite to eat whilst you are out and about soaking up the unique atmosphere with a slower pace of life here on the Isle of Wight.
