St Just is a hive of activity, great pubs, walks, galleries and cafes. Formerly an old market barn and recently used by the British Legion, Poppy Cottage has been lovingly converted into a stylish single-storey property. Exceptionally presented, this gorgeous abode is the perfect retreat for guests wishing to explore the coastal paths and moorlands of far west Cornwall.

Set in the centre of the town, at Poppy Cottage you have every comfort and more. A roaring wood-burner glows within the open plan living area, keeping you warm and cosy even on cooler days. The kitchen is well-equipped and overlooks the dining-area with the sitting-area to your left.

Enjoy the sound base and Bluetooth on the Smart TV, or watch the world go by from the comfortable sofas and plan the day's adventures - perhaps a stroll to Cape Cornwall or a surf at Sennen Cove. Both bedrooms are well appointed with king-size beds, and by the bedrooms is a modern shower-room with a large, low level, walk-in tray. Poppy Cottage is all on one level, and located just off the road, although it has no parking there is a free car park a hop, skip and jump or 50 yards away.

The attractive town of St Just is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is moments away from some of the most dramatic coastlines in Cornwall. St Just is a very friendly town with a wonderful mix of craft shops, a butcher, local bakers, four pubs and a small supermarket for all your holiday needs. There are a couple of delicious cafes too and the Dog and Rabbit (located just behind the Post Office) serves a fabulous breakfast with log fires and squishy sofas, and is dog-friendly too!

Surrounding the town and just a short stroll from Poppy Cottage are the most spectacular coastal walks (so don't leave your walking boots behind). If you fancy a day on the beach, learning to surf or simply to just build sandcastles and eat ice creams then you are truly spoilt for choice in west Cornwall. Sennen with its glorious surfing beach is ten minutes away as is Porthcurno, a stunning cove where you can also take in a trip to the world famous Minack Theatre and take in an open-air show. Further afield you will find Marazion with its sandy beach overlooking famous St Michael's Mount. Whilst there why not treat yourself to a cream tea on the terrace at the popular Godolphin Arms, don't forget jam first you are in Cornwall after all!
