Set in an enviable position in the centre of the glamorous waterside village of St Mawes this gorgeous second floor apartment boasts the most incredible sea views over the harbour to St Anthony headland and beyond.

The well-equipped kitchen, complete with Nespresso machine, is the perfect start to a morning with the large double doors and feature window seats in the luxuriously furnished open plan living-room, making the most of the uninterrupted views. Sat in the window you feel so close to the sea you could be on the deck of your own super yacht and on sailing nights you have a grandstand view of the boats racing in the harbour. The pretty main bedroom also enjoys the same stunning sea views, snuggle up in bed and and listen to the sea lapping against the sea wall and watch the boats bobbing on their moorings; this is a truly relaxing retreat.

You can completely forget the car if you wish as the village has everything you need within walking distance including an excellent selection of top notch restaurants for those special nights out.

If you fancy a day further afield, catch the passenger ferry to bustling atmospheric Falmouth and explore the shops or head further up the Fal River and visit the National Trust Trelissick Gardens. There is also a small foot ferry you can catch that goes across the water to Place Manor where you can join the South West Coast Path around St Anthony headland. Pack up a picnic and stop off at one of the many secluded coves for lunch and a swim.

Summers Beach and Tavern are a short walk from Top Sails and there are several larger beaches close by on the peninsula including Porthcurnick and Carne which are well worth a visit. There are lots of water based activities available for the more adventurous so why not hire a kayak and explore one of the beautiful creeks, learn how to sail or try your hand at paddle boarding.
