TwinWith a stunning spacious sea facing balcony, Oak Tree Cottage is in a superb location just steps from the beach and a short walk along the seafront into Seaview Village. An outdoor dining-table and gas barbecue make the balcony a wonderful place to relax and enjoy al fresco dining whilst admiring the view across the Solent. The current owners have reconfigured the layout so the living/dining space is on the first floor to capitalise on this idyllic location. Beautifully presented throughout, Oak Tree Cottage is a fantastic holiday destination.
All three bedrooms are located on the ground floor, the main bedroom has an en suite, and the double and twin rooms have a bathroom adjacent to them. There is a utility-room on the ground floor with access out to the rear patio area. A completely enclosed area with built-in barbecue and separate drying area provides a wonderfully private space to enjoy your morning coffee or for a lie down on a sun lounger with a good book. The garden to the front is lawned and well-tended with a lovely selection of plants; the driveway has room for up to three cars including a carport, ideal for bicycle storage.
The open plan living-room with kitchen and dining areas is spacious and light creating a welcoming space for the family to get together and plan their day ahead. There is an additional WC on this floor. Oak Tree Cottage is very well-equipped and guests will have everything they need for their well-earned break.
Ideally placed between Seaview and Ryde, either direction offers a waterfront walk along the promenade to a good choice of restaurants, pubs and beach cafes. The Boathouse is the closest, just a five minute stroll away, serving fine food; you can dine on a raised patio with a superb sea view. Seaview Village has several restaurants including The Seaview Hotel and The Old Fort, both with outdoor seating areas and sea views, you will be spoilt for choice. You can take your pick of beaches, Appley Sands closest to Ryde is a vast expanse of white sand, at low tide providing a great place for the younger ones to swim in shallow waters. The beaches towards Seaview are predominantly shingle and also offer great swimming conditions and crabbing.
