The owners of 3 Springfield Court have gone the extra mile to ensure guests get the most from their holiday. You will find tennis rackets and balls in the apartment in case you decide to take to the court and if you fancy a day at the beach, bodyboards, folding chairs and windbreaks are provided as well.
The property has three bedrooms, a spacious double with king-sized bed and en suite shower-room, a twin room and a bunk bedroom. There is also a modern family bathroom.
The light and airy kitchen/dining-room has plenty of space to enjoy holiday meal times together and doors to the patio-area beyond. A bright, comfortable sitting-room is the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring the Island.
Seaview village is a ten minute stroll along the promenade, an idyllic seaside resort with several places to dine out including The Old Fort pub and an award-winning restaurant in The Seaview Hotel. Seaview also has a lovely cafe, a Post Office, pharmacy and several other interesting and useful shops. The larger town of Ryde is about 20 minutes away on foot and provides extensive shopping and eating options, as well as sandy Appley Beach.
To experience some of the best views from the island take Military Road and head west towards Freshwater Bay. For those wanting to take in the majestic site of the Needles you can brave the chairlift down to the beach oe take a boat trip to get a better look. The coastline at Compton Bay is stunning, at low tide you can spot dinosaur footprints and is the perfect spot for swimming. The island is full of activities and attractions ranging from museums and historic homes to peaceful gardens and wildlife sanctuaries.
For a unique way to see this varied landscape pop on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. Cutting through the countryside you are taken on a trip down memory lane and at this slower pace of life you get to enjoy the views and maybe even spot the island most famous residents - the red squirrels!
