Tucked away along a country lane, in 23 acres of Cornish meadows, woodland and streams, Coombe Cottage is the perfect retreat for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy a taste of the 'good life'. With wildlife spotting opportunities plentiful and stargazing a must, Coombe Cottage shares this peaceful rural haven with neighbouring Little Tregerry (3859), the welcoming but very discreet owners and their chickens, Mr and Mrs Goose and not forgetting, Boris, the Kunekune pig along with two rescue donkeys – you will be smitten!

Open the front door and walk into the cosy and welcoming detached cottage, the open plan first floor offers the perfect room to take time to enjoy being together from cooking up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen to snuggling down into a comfy sofa and watching a film. Being a reverse level cottage head downstairs where you will find both bedrooms which have been styled to compliment the cottage and surroundings whilst creating cosy nooks to enjoy a restful nights sleep. On those warm summer days head out to the wonderfully private enclosed garden, which enjoys fabulous far reaching views or stretch your legs exploring the farm meadows whilst saying hello to the donkeys!

To fill your days you may simply want to sit back and enjoy the peaceful setting but this is a great base for getting out and about to explore all the delights this area has to offer. The north coast with its fabulous golden sands and towering cliffs is littered with great places to see. Surfers will get their fix at Widemouth Bay, whilst for more traditional seaside fun head to Bude. The charming villages of Port Isaac, of Doc Martin fame, and Boscastle are well worth a visit and for those who love Arthurian legend a trip to Tintagel is a must.

For some family fun, Trethorne Leisure Park is close by and for transport of a bygone age hop on a train at the Launceston Steam Railway. Walkers can explore the endless miles of coastal footpath, offering stunning views around every corner, and for contrasting scenery take a ramble across Bodmin Moor with its rugged landscape, wide open spaces and moorland villages, many with their own traditional village pub so that you can refuel along the way!
