The family-friendly beaches at Talland are five minutes' walk downhill and walkers will love the scenic coastal footpath leading to the fishing village of Polperro to the west and the bustling harbour town of Looe to the east.
Nearby, the popular Talland Bay Hotel offers brasserie and fine dining menus and two beach cafes provide traditional seaside food and evening barbecues in summer months.
Fred's House has three spacious bedrooms, one downstairs so ideal for those with limited mobility. The property sleeps a maximum of five guests although the extra bed allows flexibility of accommodation. This real home-from-home is traditionally furnished and very comfortable, with a Smart TV and wood-burner in the cosy sitting-room and an iPod dock in the separate dining-room which overlooks the big, quarter-acre garden, an idyllic place for children to play (perfect for hide-and-seek amongst the trees and shrubs!).
The ground floor bathroom includes a bath and a separate shower cubicle, and beyond the small but well-equipped kitchen there is a cloakroom and a utility-room, where the Belfast sink is handy for rinsing out swimsuits after a day on the beach.
