Gill welcomed us personally to Bashford Lodge and was a very friendly guide to the property and also helped us to find a riding school for our girls to try out horses appropriate to their age an skill level. The views of the valley from the lodge are stunning and it was amazing to see the horses from Quantock Trekking stables come down from the hills every day for breakfast, without much help form the staff. It was the highlight with the kids each morning! We also loved the boot and coat drying room and the boot washing facilities provided, they are unique, in our experience, and were really helpful in geting all our walking kit ready at the end of each day. This was particularly helpful given the awful weather we encountered, during our stay. At the end of the week, we all felt relaxed and happy, which in these times is precious gift. The Lodge as an excellent place to stay and we would recomment it to anyone wanting to stay in the North Somerset area....

This property is first class and is in a wonderful location. It offers modern comforts in a rural setting. The owner is pleasant, helpful and informative.
