We chose this cottage because of its position right by the Tamar. Its ancient walls kept us cool in the very hot weather. There is plenty to do both in the park and in the immediate vicinity with ferry trips to William Yard for a smart night out. We kept fit and ate well all week. ...

Stayed at Horseshoe Cottage for a week, great location. Parking space right outside. Cottage is a good size although maybe a bit small for 4 adults. Plenty of walks around the County Park. Walk on Ferry to Royal William Yard and The Barbican, certainly a lot quicker to reach by ferry than drive. ...
