You'll find a good number of cafes close by and a cycle path which runs along the back of the beach. Parking is usually available on nearby side roads. Volunteer lifeguards patrol the area during summer months and there is a seasonal dog ban on the central section of the beach only.

Reedens Meadow is a peaceful 29 acre park in the centre of Newick, open to all and perfect for nature watching and walking. Parking is available at both ends.

Situated to the north of Lewes, Newick is a charming village at the foot of the High Weald Area of Natural Beauty. With easy access to Lewes and the stunning Sussex coast, Nerwick is a great choice for exploring.

Welcome to The Royal Oak, a charming traditional public house with cosy interiors and outside seating for warming months. You will find a separate restaurant serving traditional pub grub and real ales are available.

This classic British pub offers traditional dining using seasonal ingredients locally sourced. In summer the country garden is open for guests to enjoy the Sussex countryside.

Located on the southern edge of the Weald this small town offers an assortment of high street shops and small independent traders. There are supermarkets and a variety of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The Uckfield Picture House shows the latest blockbusters and events with the Picture House restaurant conveniently located across the road.
