Poised on the clifftops above the never-ending sea, near St Ann's Lighthouse, in an unequalled position on the lee-side of enchanting St Ann's Head, near Dale, welcome to Haven High, a little seafaring gem. Escape from it all and soak up the spectacular, spellbinding views from this simple sojourn.
If you can tear yourself away from magical surroundings, the sheltered cove at Dale is nearby, where dinner at The Griffin Inn is a must. From the doorstep discover the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and explore on foot the sheer beauty of the surrounding area. Just a short walk away is picturesque Mill Bay. Watch the local sea life in the waters below, where very often dolphins swim in the bay.
On arriving, you will marvel at the breathtaking location of your holiday destination and will fall in love with sweet Haven High. Step inside and let your holiday begin. The views from the sitting-room stretch across the rugged cliffs and across the sea towards the Haven Water Way and the sea beyond to the right, taking in the golden sands of Angle and beyond.
Regardless of the season, whether the stormy seas are crashing on the cliffs below or calm and crystal clear on a sunny day, this corner of Pembrokeshire is alluring and magnificent.
Take dinner soaking up the views and watching the spectacular Pembrokeshire sunsets. The well-equipped kitchen has everything the chef needs. Relax on the comfortable sofa, lost in the beautiful coastal vista. After a day in the fresh Pembrokeshire air a good night's sleep is promised in both bedrooms.
Spend blissful time in the large, walled garden, which is shared with the neighbouring property. The shared picnic bench is perfect for a sunny breakfast next to the ever changing sea or a peaceful sun downer in the moonlight to end a perfect day.
Enjoy the beaches at nearby Broad Haven and Little Haven. There's a choice of good eateries and a well stocked shop at Broad Haven. Explore the spellbinding coastline, which takes you to Nolton Haven, gorgeous Druidston Beach and on to Newgale, a surfer's paradise. St Davids with its magnificent cathedral, boutique shops, restaurants and galleries is worth a visit. Family fun days include Folly Farm and Oakwood theme park. For a day trip, Tenby takes some beating, with its many beautiful beaches, colourful, vibrant town and the chance to visit Caldey Island, catching the boat from the harbour.
If you're looking for a coastal escape and the sea to soothe your soul, Haven High, throughout the year, is the perfect retreat for you.
