TwinExplore the spellbinding beaches, craggy cliffs and wildlife-filled islands in Pembrokeshire from St Brides Cottage, a gorgeous single-storey barn conversion, with a heavenly Scandinavian hot tub, nestling a mile from St Brides beach and nearby Mill Haven. The coastal path is just a short walk away, accessed straight from the door along a farm track with spectacular views over the bay.
This dreamy cottage offers spacious, well-presented accommodation, centrally located between spectacular Marloes Sands and the pretty, picture-postcard seaside village of Little Haven. Take blissful time out in the sunny, south-facing walled garden, relaxing in the soothing hot tub or try a game of table-tennis in the adjacent 'Dive Shack' (games-room).
There is something for everyone in the area including glorious beaches to explore. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path, 168 miles of meandering trails, uncovers rugged coves, over fifty beaches, vibrant seaside towns and pretty coastal villages, all brimming with life, heritage, history and local culture.
Discover castles, try kayaking, surfing, paddleboarding, memorable boat trips, crabbing off the pontoon in nearby Dale, great family days out, good eateries or simply spending time away from it all in this peaceful Welsh retreat.
The dog-friendly, FFLECSI coastal bus is available to book throughout the year. Through an app on your phone, or in person, book your pick up and enjoy your day exploring the spellbinding coasts of the Pembrokeshire National Park.
Step into the sunny conservatory, the perfect spot for holiday breakfasts, which leads to the well-equipped kitchen boasting a gas-fired double range, slow cooker and dishwasher, along with a microwave and fridge/freezer. The open plan design is perfect for get-togethers, chatting to the chef whilst chilling out after an exhilarating walk or a day on the beach. Relax in the comfortable sitting-room, throwing open the door to the enclosed garden for a gentle summer's breeze, the inviting hot tub is steps away.
With luxurious Himalayan duvets, deep pocket-sprung mattresses and top quality linen, a good night's sleep is promised in the hushed bedrooms. Lose yourself, stargazing on idyllic summer nights, from the blissful hot tub, after a tasty barbecue next to the glow of the fire-pit or while away some holiday time with a good book in the lawned far corner of the garden. Enjoy dinner al fresco in this sheltered oasis, surrounded by rolling meadows and the sounds of nature. The Dive Shack is perfect on rainy days for table-tennis, bar skittles and playing with the large jenga.
The nearby sheltered anchorage of Dale, with its stunning views of the ocean and beyond, provides the perfect backdrop for a drink on the Griffin wall. Enjoy the Griffin's award-winning dishes or relax in Dale Yacht Club, dining at Coco's Brasserie, overlooking the sea.
Have fun on the ocean with West Wales Water Sports, hiring all the equipment you need. Take a boat trip from Martins Haven to Skomer Island, spotting the puffins between April and August. St Brides Castle and beach is just up the lane, its restaurant, Dylan's Bistro, enjoys spellbinding views across St Brides Bay.
The spectacular Marloes beach is just a short drive away. Enjoy breakfast at Runwayskiln then spend the day surfing or just walking and playing on the magnificent, extensive sands, overlooking the islands of Skokholm and Skomer.
The enchanting seaside village of Little Haven has a sandy beach, excellent pubs and restaurants. Children will love exploring the rock pools. Wander up The Point to take in the captivating sea views and dramatic coastline or sit on the Swann wall, watching the magnificent sunsets, with your favourite tipple, listening to the sea lapping on the shoreline. At low tide stroll across the beach, passing Settlands Bay to Broad Haven, which offers excellent eateries, a well-stocked shop and huge swathes of golden sands.
For day trips, St Davids is along the coast. The magnificent Cathedral is worth a visit. Nearby Whitesands and Newgale are a surfer's paradise. Other spectacular beaches are Druidston and Nolton Haven. From the cottage walk to Mill Haven, perfect for a dip at high tide.
