This modern semi-detached abode offers the perfect spot for families, couples or a solo traveller - this truly is a home-from-home meaning you will also have a very happy pooch!
As you meander up from the parking area to the front door via the sloping path you will be treated to a tropical garden that is rather delightful! This gorgeous white house has been thoughtfully and stylishly created for your enjoyment, the decor is simple and fresh with light coastal tones used to create a sense of space and calm! The open plan reception room is a real gem and the ideal area for you all to reconnect whether enjoying a family meal around the table or a chilled out family games night, the choice is yours! You're on holiday and time can wait so add a few drinks on the top terrace as a must do activity!
Head upstairs where you will find both beautifully styled and furnished bedrooms with cosy beds, fresh linens, fluffy towels and of course the space and light flows seamlessly. The family bathroom sits between the double and twin bedrooms, just off the landing.
The thoughtful owners are next door and will simply wave as you pass on the tropical garden path to Palms 1, which has been set back ensuring privacy but also allowing for the top patio area to be created which is simply a delight no matter the time of day! Simply slide open the patio doors from the main reception room and step out with a morning brew, soak up the views and the dawn chorus from the table and chairs. For those all-important beach days, the owners have yet again come up trumps providing body boards and other beach gear which can be found in the garage - you really will experience a self-catering holiday that delivers on every level. For your four-legged friend there is a field a short walk away providing the perfect spot for a run around, as there is no lawned area at the house. Yet again, the owners have delivered when it comes to local information, with a welcome folder that is so detailed you will feel like a local in no time at all!
There's plenty of other wonderful places in north Devon to discover. If you're looking to explore more of the coast, the beautiful beaches of Putsborough, Croyde and Saunton Sands are all within easy reach. Ilfracombe is a pretty seaside town, ideal for a leisurely day spent exploring or heading out on a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals, you can also catch a boat from Ilfracombe to unspoilt Lundy Island for more wildlife watching and beautiful scenery. If you're feeling energetic the Tarka Trail is a fantastic spot for cycling, and the South West Coast Path and Exmoor National Park are wonderful for both leisurely walks or more challenging ones. Some of north Devon's prettiest villages such as Lynton and Lynmouth, Appledore and Instow or Clovelly are all within easy reach of Palms 1 and also well worth a visit. So, whether you're planning an action-packed holiday or you're hoping to adopt a slower pace of life for a little while, you're sure to return home wanting to do it all over again when staying at Palms 1.
