The apartment's terrace can be enjoyed from dawn until dusk, settle into the sun lounger and indulge in a holiday read. The fully equipped kitchen offers the perfect spot to rustle up a family dinner or a quick snack. If the chef fancies a night off head to the hotel's Art Deco style restaurant or the Beachside Grill.
Both bedrooms have been styled to aid peaceful and restful sleep thanks to cosy beds with crisp white linens and complimentary dressing gowns. Bedroom two enjoys an en suite shower and the flexibility of a 'zip and link' option - twin beds or king the choice is yours. Lastly, the main bathroom is a showstopper, gloriously fitted out with a walk-in rainfall shower - the perfect reset after a day of surfing, sandcastle making or simply soaking up the rays.
The beauty of a holiday here is you can choose to be as active as you wish. The hotel's 24-hour room service is available (depending on the weather) so you can simply enjoy the fabulous surroundings of your apartment all day, every day without leaving. It would be a shame not to explore the Saunton Sands Hotel's fantastic facilities though and as a guest at Beach View, you can access all, including a large outdoor swimming pool (heated from mid-May to September but open for cold water dips in winter if you are feeling brave), a well-equipped gym, tennis and fitness classes. You can even loan a Dryrobe from reception! The Source Spa and Wellness is where you can enjoy the marine-inspired thermal suite, treatment rooms and Finnish aroma sauna. Guests can even enjoy surfing lessons which are free during school holidays and at weekends between June and September.
The beautiful sandy beach is a short stroll away and there are many more along the coast including Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho!. The South West Coast Path passes the front door of the hotel, and with 630 miles to explore there's plenty to keep the fittest walker happy. The pretty villages of Appledore and Instow are worth a look linked by a passenger ferry across the estuary in summer. Golfers can choose between the stunning 36 hole course at Saunton or Ilfracombe with the most spectacular views, and Portmore on the outskirts of Barnstaple.
There is one thing for sure, once discovered Beach View will be a holiday of dreams you simply won't want to leave!
