From parking up the car, you walk up through the manicured tropical garden passing the owners' house and on to Palms 1, which has been set back for your privacy.

The Porthole coffee shop is a must, with the beach to the front and Exmoor behind, one minute you can be watching a surfer and the next an Exmoor pony.
From the coffee shop head back to Woolacombe.

Surf the sand dunes as the sun sets and you have the beach to yourself.
