Set in an idyllic countryside location with big Norfolk skies, come and discover this delightful single-storey lodge, sitting alongside two neighbouring properties. Just outside the pretty hamlet of Wighton and moments from the stunning coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea, enjoy the ever-changing tides at the stunning beach, there's also an abundance of shops and great places to eat. Free from traffic noise, apart from the odd tractor from the neighbouring farm or cyclists passing by along the country lane, this is a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Step inside to discover the comfortable and well-designed open plan cooking and eating space with your well-equipped kitchen, including a washing machine/drier, ideal if you're bringing the little ones on holiday. For coffee lovers there is a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine complete with pods ready for your arrival. Relax in this space after a day out exploring either in front of the Smart TV or open the french doors onto the enclosed courtyard complete with bistro table and chairs; a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine under the starlit skies. It's an ideal spot to enjoy stargazing on a clear night.

The comfortable double bedroom has plenty of storage and an additional single bed for the youngsters, there's also room for a travel cot. The shower-room is located off the main hallway, the large shower is superb for washing off the salt after a day on the beach. The owners also provide a baby bath if you need one.

Make the most of the central lawned garden, complete with tables and chairs allocated to each property, Sunrise Lodge (5627) and Sunnyside Lodge (5630)
a great opportunity to chat to neighbouring guests. If you are a big family group or with friends, why not book all three for a holiday to remember, spend time together yet still enjoy your own private living space.

The small cycle hire business 'On Yer bike' (Norfolk Cycle Hire) is nearby, why not leave the car behind and hire some wheels, book a bike for a day or fancy trying a tandem, made for two and great fun depending on who's doing all the pedaling! Take off and explore the surrounding countryside and trails, there's so much to see. Will it be the pink route you explore to the nearby villages of North and South Creake or perhaps a visit to Burnham Market with boutique shops, tea-rooms and exclusive restaurants all surrounding the central green with a tiny river flowing through.

Take a ride, a short drive or manageable walk to neighbouring Binham, approximately two miles away and visit the must-see ancient monuments at Binham Priory followed by a delicious lunch at The Little Dairy Shop where their speciality is the 'raw milk' available fresh from the herd in the neighbouring barns, a unique addition to breakfast!

Just over a mile away is the friendly local pub The Carpenters Arms, where you can enjoy tasty dishes made from locally-sourced ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere. It's great for foodies and on the warmer days, sit out and enjoy the garden.

For a fabulous day out, take a trip to Holkham Hall, an 18th Century Palladian-style house nestled within twenty-five thousand acres of rolling parkland. Based on designs by William Kent and built by Thomas Coke, the first Earl of Leicester; the current Earl and his family take great pride in opening their doors every year to share the treasures within including the truly breathtaking marble hall with an impressive fifty-foot dome ceiling.

Explore the parkland where the herd of fallow deer roam and graze freely within the park, an exquisite site that will take your breath away, you can also take a deer and wildlife safari, but you may need to book ahead. We suggest you bring your binoculars or bicycles; you'll often see runners in the park too, the space is open to everyone. The park and animals are an impressive sight whenever you choose to visit.
