Welcome to this gorgeous holiday cottage, a contemporary retreat thoughtfully renovated from charming old farm buildings. Perfectly situated amongst 30 acres of countryside yet only a couple of miles from the M1, this cottage offers an idyllic escape with all the modern comforts you could wish for.

The cottage features a spacious open plan design, seamlessly combining living, dining and kitchen areas. The contemporary decor creates a bright and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and socialising. Cosy up on the sofa to watch your favourite TV show or gather around the table for a competitive game of cards, no cheating! The kitchen is perfectly placed so you can chat with the cook and offer helpful advice from the comfort of your armchair.

The relaxing and cosy bedrooms will beckon you as night falls and as each has an en suite shower-room, privacy and convenience is assured.

Step outside into the large lawned garden bordered by a wood at one side, there is plenty of space for the little ones to let off steam or for Fido to have some playtime as dogs are very welcome. Enjoy al fresco dining with the fire-pit barbecue and then maybe later relax in the hot tub and watch the stars twinkling in the night sky.

The cottage also features a separate shared games barn equipped with a digitally scoring dart board, table football and pool table providing fun for all ages. A reading room is also in the barn with games and books to enjoy. A small and serene pond is available if you wish to fish (bring your own rods) and for the cook, a garden filled with raised beds where you can pick herbs and produce (when in season) to enjoy during your stay. It is possible to integrate this lovely accommodation with a range of two and three bedroom lovingly renovated old farm buildings Fisherman's Den (5558) Lachlan's Barn( 5554) Coach House (5555) and The Old Workshop (5556)

With 30 acres of private land, there's plenty of space to explore. Take leisurely walks, enjoy the fresh air and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the countryside.

Guests have the option to indulge in the fabulous on-site spa facilities at the wellness centre, including Himalayan salt room, steam room, Swedish sauna, infrared dry sauna, plunge pool, ice machine, showers and changing rooms. Bookings can be made directly with the retreat manager during your stay (at cost) subject to availability.

Shawell, the closest village, is less than a mile from the M1 and M6 motorways, some background noise may be heard. The site of the Roman town of Tripontium is on Watling Street, an old Roman road to the west of the village. It has a great pub, The White Swan, and an amazing country store with unusual interior and garden pieces, enjoy a coffee and cake in the quirky atmosphere. A little further afield, Lutterworth is known for the essential role it played in World War II and the development of modern transportation. Lutterworth is a market town steeped in a rich history and its oldest building dates to the 16 Century. Around Lutterworth and Rugby you will find a variety of activities and attractions to enjoy. St Mary's Church in Lutterworth is a historic church and significant in religious history. Explore the birthplace of rugby football with a guided tour at Rugby School and Museum. Coombe Abbey has extensive gardens, woodland walks and a rich history. For those who like the outdoor life a visit to Swift Valley Nature Reserve is a must, enjoy a peaceful walk through the reserve which features wetlands, meadows and woodlands. Fow wildlife spotting try Fosse Meadows Nature Area. Enjoy an open-air theatre experience at Kilworth House Theatre, with a range of performances from musicals to plays it's great fun in the summer. For shopping try Lutterworth featuring charming independent shops, traditional pubs and cafes. You can fish on site but if you wander a little further afield there are several local fishing spots providing a relaxing angling experience.
