Perfectly placed in the serene countryside near the village of Shawell, this charming cottage is part of a cluster of dwellings encircling a shared gravel courtyard which is anchored by a majestic old tree. The cottage, lovingly renovated from old farm buildings, exudes a blend of rustic charm and contemporary style. Welcoming families and pets and with your own hot tub and fire-pit plus a shared games-room, 30 acres of woodland and a fishing pond to explore, it is an ideal retreat for the whole family.

The cottage features an open plan layout all on one level that highlights its historical past with exposed old beams seamlessly integrated with modern amenities. The kitchen is large with an island just the place to chat to the cook and perhaps provide cooking advice. There is a superb large dining-table with space enough for the whole family to dine together and completing the living area are two large comfy and squashy sofas, just the place to put your feet up and relax, you can either pop on the Smart TV and share the excitement of a film or two or open up the doors to the large garden and let the sun shine in.

There are three stylish bedrooms, two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, all boasting an en suite shower-room ensuring comfort and privacy to all guests.

The outdoor space is equally impressive, with a large garden overlooking the woods that includes a hot tub and a fire-pit barbecue, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. The whole family will love the shared games-room with a digital dart board, no cheating, table football and pool table, and a separate reading room for quiet times filled with books and games for you to use. A fishing pond adds to the rustic charm offering peaceful moments by the water. Raised beds filled with seasonal vegetables and herbs are available for you to pick, enhancing that farm to fork experience. All cottages have their own EV charger. The Old Workshop is a real escape in relaxed and beautiful surroundings, what's not to love.

Guests have the option to indulge in the fabulous on-site spa facilities at the wellness centre, including Himalayan salt room, steam room, Swedish sauna, infrared dry sauna, plunge pool, ice machine, showers and changing rooms.
