Small doubleWelcome to Vista Paris, a beautifully crafted, upcycled shepherd's hut and cabin sitting in a tranquil meadow. Overlooking the idyllic Cornish countryside and with peaceful surroundings, this is a wonderful spot for a solo escape or a hideaway for two.
Step inside the shepherd's hut to find your oh so lovely sleeping area, decorated in gorgeous green tones, with a beautiful double bed (four foot wide) and an en suite shower-room. This truly is a cosy little haven, perfect for a restful night's sleep and well-deserved leisurely lie-ins. Head back out onto the deck to enter the cabin, where you'll find a sweet sofa, coffee table and a kitchen area, complete with a fridge, kettle, hob and mini oven. Here you can prepare breakfast and lazy lunches, or pack up a picnic for those exploration days.
The glorious outside space is perfect for enjoying the best of outdoor living. Surrounded by colourful blooms, the decking area with a dining-table and chairs is a delightful spot to unwind, and since it's covered, there's no need to worry if it rains! A few steps down, you'll find the fabulous hot tub and a fire-pit barbecue. Rustle up a feast before hopping in the hot tub to unwind and gaze out at those countryside views. Dreamy…
Vista Paris has a number of eco features, including a living roof on the cabin, wildflowers and trees for encouraging native wildlife habitats, and the cabin and shepherd's hut have been created using a number of upcycled and reclaimed materials.
This hideaway shares its beautifully secluded field with Birdsong (5452) but your privacy will always be respected.
You may wish to simply sit back and enjoy those do-nothing days during your stay, but if you fancy exploring, you'll be within easy reach of both the north and south coast of Cornwall. Head to the village of Mawgan Porth for blissful beach days and seaside cafes and restaurants. Idyllic Crantock is also nearby and perfect for an afternoon stroll, with its art gallery, coffee shops and a fantastic pizza place, Jam Jar Kitchen. Watergate Bay and the stunning beaches of Newquay are within easy reach, ideal for coast path adventures and discovering the beautiful bays and coves within the area. Further up along the coast, you'll find Padstow, a charming seaside town dotted with art galleries, independent shops and cafes, excellent restaurants and a bustling harbour. And if you're feeling active, you can hire a bike and cycle along the Camel Trail, stopping off in Wadebridge for a bite to eat before you return.
If you fancy discovering the south Cornwall coast, you'll find a number of wonderful places under an hour's drive away and ideal for a day trip. Pay a visit to the sailing town of Fowey or the harbour village of Mevagissey, each with boutique shops, waterside eateries and a vibrant atmosphere.
