One of a collection of fabulous apartments located in The Headland in the traditional Cornish fishing village of Coverack, The Nest is a beautifully furnished bijou abode, perfect for either a couple's getaway or a solo retreat and ideally placed to explore the best of The Lizard and west Cornwall.

The porch area at The Headland is communal with the additional benefit of a laundry-room, which is pay per use. The Nest is situated on the first floor of this grand residence and you will feel at home from the moment you step over the threshold. The sitting-room is stylishly furnished with cosy sofas around the log-effect electric fire, making this the ideal getaway throughout the year. For evenings in, the Smart TV and Sky Sports channel will keep you entertained and do take a look at the fabulous artwork on the walls, these gorgeous images were taken by the owners during their travels to the Galapagos Islands. A dining-table is tucked away in a corner, the perfect spot to chat over dinner or play a board game perhaps. The small kitchen is separate and has all you need to cook a holiday meal.

Through to the bedroom and what a delight it is! Decorated in cool white and complemented by beautiful painted oak furniture, you are assured of a restful night here. The shower-room is ideal for a refreshing shower after a busy day of exploring.

Outside, there are spacious communal gardens with stunning sea views to explore and a tennis court which you are welcome to use and rackets are available in the apartment.

Coverack is a quintessential Cornish village with a picture-perfect crescent shaped harbour, beautiful beach with sandy areas and rock pools at low tide, a great local pub, deli and an ice cream parlour.

This part of the peninsula is also home to the notorious Manacles Reef, a hotspot for divers which has claimed over 100 ships over the years. The water clarity is also one of the clearest in the country for spotting basking sharks and there are plenty of excursions available for divers of all abilities from Porthkerris dive centre, which is just a short drive away. Whilst you are there, you must visit Fat Apples Cafe - it's a secret Cornish gem adored by locals that serves up the most delectable meals.

The Nest is situated on the coastal path itself; you can wander along it and be in the village centre in a few minutes and what better way of spending time is there than sitting with an ice cream watching the tide ebb and flow! Walkers will be in heaven as the coast path is literally on the doorstep giving you the opportunity to discover hidden coves, sandy beaches and gorgeous fishing villages. Water sports fans can hire a paddle board from the harbour or perhaps take a lesson to hone their skills.

Roskilly's Farm is a short drive away, open daily and the perfect stopping point for a Cornish cream tea (made with milk from their very own dairy herd), jam first of course! They also have over 30 varieties of ice cream to choose from and you can even visit the farm and see the cows.

Renowned Kynance Cove is a must visit - breathtakingly beautiful and a photographer's dream so don't forget your camera. Surfers should head for the Atlantic rollers at Poldhu Cove where the surf school give lessons and the cafe serves amazing hot chocolate.

However, you plan to spend your blissful holiday days, The Nest is perfectly placed for all your Cornish adventures.
