They don't make views like this anymore, gaze from your bed at the glistening sea and feel your worries drift away with the breeze. This pretty terraced cottage is perfectly located in the heart of the village; with the tidal beach only moments from your front door, and pretty Perprean Cove behind you, this is the perfect seaside destination.

Smugglers Rest has a unique patio garden at the back of the property, which is a wonderful sun-trap and has the most fabulous views over The Lizard peninsula, there is also a little gate where you can access the South West Coast Path and the playground for children to play on.

This cottage has been beautifully decorated, the open plan living space is very cosy, the large inglenook fireplace in the kitchen has a large sofa so you can sit back and relax while your loved one cooks you a much-deserved supper. Enjoy lighting the wood-burner and warming your toes after a day on the coast, this is just delightful any time of year.

Upstairs you will find the two bedrooms which are both beautifully decorated and overlook the pretty harbour of Coverack, a very relaxing place to be. The family bathroom can also be found on the first floor.

This cottage has an unusual feature, a hidden secret press-gang hideaway from the days when Coverack was a thriving smuggling village and giving the cottage its name - the owner has made a great feature of this in the cottage. The property also has a lovely terrace just across the road where you can overlook Coverack Harbour and catches the morning sun; a perfect spot for breakfast.

Located in the heart of the village, the South West Coast Path is only moments from your front door where you can discover craggy coves and hidden treasures. The village is well-equipped with a village shop, two cafes (serving Roskillys, yummy ice cream), two restaurants, a local pub and many water sports.
