TwinNestled in the very heart of the charming Cornish town of St Agnes, No 7 Churchtown is a simply gorgeous, dog friendly cottage - ideal for that cosy cottage holiday by the sea, any time of the year. Sleeping four, this dreamy getaway is perfect for a romantic escape or a holiday with three of your favourite people, with the welcoming pubs (one just 20 yards away), fabulous restaurants, excellent independent shops and unforgettable coastline of St Agnes pretty much on your doorstep.
Step inside to find the wonderful open plan kitchen and dining space, complete with a super stylish kitchen, dining-table and chairs, and a lovely sitting area, with a beautiful blue sofa and gorgeous love seat - plus, a wood-burner for those cosy nights by the fire. This is just the spot for sociable nights in, preparing a delicious supper and planning tomorrow's adventures.
Head upstairs via the narrow, traditional cottage steps, and up the stepped landing, to find the two gorgeous bedrooms (accessed via one step up into each room). Bedroom One is a pretty king room, with a divine bed, a comfortable armchair ideal for an hour or two of holiday reading, and an en suite shower-room. Bedroom Two is next door, a spacious twin room decorated in gorgeous olive tones. From the landing and up one step, you'll find the stylish family shower-room.
Outside, the patio space is perfect for lazy coffee mornings and blissful evening drinks. There's a utility-room here too, with a washing machine and tumble-drier, plus it's the ideal spot to hang your wetsuits! Head up the twelve steps to find the top patio area, another idyllic seating area to sit back, relax and unwind under the Cornish sunshine. Please note, children must be supervised in this area.
A holiday in St Agnes is perfect if you're in search of a laid-back escape. With a welcoming and friendly vibe and easily explored on foot from the cottage, the village also has a number of fantastic eateries; cute cafes and coffee shops, bakeries, a delicious deli, and a whole host of restaurants. The Driftwood Spars pub sits above Trevaunance Cove - certainly worth a visit for its famous beers, best enjoyed after a dip in the unbelievably blue waters of the cove - about 1 mile away if you are driving.
The coastline in this part of the world really is spectacular. Spend long, leisurely days exploring the coast path (you'll find plenty of dog friendly places to eat along the way!), relaxing on the golden sand beaches and soaking up the glorious views all around.
If you're looking to explore a little further afield, the vibrant seaside towns and villages of St Ives, Falmouth, Port Isaac and Padstow are within easy reach, with all the ingredients for a wonderful day out. If you're looking to discover more of the coastline, the beautiful beaches of Porthtowan, Chapel Porth and Perranporth are nearby, and are just perfect for those blissful days by the sea.
