Welcome to September Cottage, a beautifully designed, contemporary holiday abode, set in a peaceful location on the outskirts of the charming harbourside village of Portscatho on the Roseland peninsula and just a ten-minute stroll to the beach and village centre. From the gorgeous L-shaped living space, bi-fold doors lead onto the sunny patio and large private garden making this the perfect holiday home for families or a group of friends looking for the ultimate retreat.

September Cottage will wow you from the moment you arrive. The ground floor open plan living space is simply stunning with feature atrium ceilings and bi-fold doors letting the light flood in. The sitting-area is stylishly furnished in neutral tones with cosy sofas perfect for relaxing after a busy beach day and a wood-burner to keep you toasty throughout the seasons. The dining-table sits overlooking the garden and you can choose to dine in or out depending on the weather. The kitchen is a masterpiece of sleek design where even the most discerning of chefs will feel at home. With two ovens and a wine cooler, there really is every piece of equipment you will need here. The entrance hall provides storage for walking boots and flipflops.

There are three elegant bedrooms on the ground floor, two with comfy king-size beds for a restful night's sleep and a pretty twin room, ideal for either adults or children. The super family shower-room on this floor has a walk-in shower, perfect for rinsing sandy toes after a beach day. Climb the stairs to the mezzanine first floor where you will find a delightful twin-bedded room with a gorgeous en suite bathroom and dreamy free-standing bath, ideal for a relaxing soak.

Outside, September Cottage has a wide patio with perfectly placed garden furniture and a pretty garden with grassed lawn where the children can let off steam. There's even an external heated shower, so you can wash sandy toes after sunny beach days. This delightful space is perfect if you just want to relax with a good book on your holiday but however you plan to spend your days, this is a fabulous place for a holiday.

Nestled in the heart of the Roseland peninsula, Portscatho is a quintessential harbourside village with everything close at hand. The village centre is a gentle 10-minute stroll away from September Cottage and here you will find a good choice of eateries including Tatams where you can sit overlooking the bay with a coffee and freshly baked pastry and Tavola, an authentic Italian, great for takeaways or to eat in. For the best of Cornish produce take the coast path to The Hidden Hut where guests sit side by side on wooden benches and enjoy delicious food with a view overlooking Porthcurnick beach. If you'd prefer to dine in, shop for all things local at Curgurrell Farm Shop, a family run business selling food from nearby organic producers.

Walkers will be spoilt for choice here with miles of stunning coast path stretching east and west, the perfect way to discover the many unspoilt coves and pretty villages of the Roseland. Families should head to one of many beautiful beaches where swimming, sandcastle building, and rock pooling are a must. You may decide to leave your car at home and discover the delights of the area on foot, but if you do decide to travel further afield, head for St Mawes a vibrant village with a great selection of eateries where you can choose from fine dining to fish and chips from the paper on the sea wall, and everything in between. A seasonal passenger ferry plies the water between here and the maritime town of Falmouth and lesser-known gems such as Place and Flushing.

Further afield the mighty biomes of the Eden Project make for a fascinating day out, or perhaps The Lost Gardens of Heligan, lost in time during WWI, discovered thirty years ago and now wonderfully restored to their former glory.

Delightful September Cottage is a great base for all your Cornish adventures.
