Oh my, what a wonderful house this is. Tom's Cottage is a delightful holiday abode, perfectly placed for exploring the delights of the north Cornwall coast, yet nestled in peaceful seclusion and surrounded by glorious Cornish countryside. Located only a short distance from the beautiful villages of Port Isaac and Tintagel.

Giving a nod to the creative owners, Tom's Cottage has been lovingly cared for and whilst retaining its character and charm has been beautifully furnished with contemporary flourishes creating a most relaxing and comfortable holiday. Whether you are looking for a peaceful retreat in idyllic Cornish countryside, or wishing to explore the stunning coastline, beaches and fishing villages of the north Cornwall coast, family and friends both young and old will never want to leave this rural retreat.

Found down an unmade track, Tom's Cottage is a Cornish gem waiting to be discovered. The ground floor sitting-room is perfect for relaxing after a busy beach day and the place to gather for movie nights in front of the Smart TV. The kitchen/breakfast-room has all the equipment you will need to cook a holiday meal served up on the breakfast table or in the dining-room, whichever you prefer. With a plethora of farm shops, you will never be short of fresh produce. A large entrance porch/utility-room is the perfect place for all your holiday gear and for some quiet time, there's also a snug where you can snuggle up with a good book on a bean bag or sit at the desk if work calls. The wet-room sits on the ground floor, perfect for rinsing sandy toes after a day at the seaside.

Climb the stairs to the first floor, given the age of the cottage they are a little steep, and four gorgeous bedrooms await, all elegantly furnished in restful tones and luxury bedding for a great night's sleep. The two main bedrooms are so spacious and light with super comfy king-size beds. Bedroom three has twin beds, ideal for either children or adults and bedroom four can be made up as a single or twin bedded room for flexibility. The family bathroom on this floor has a bath, perfect for a leisurely soak.

Outside and Tom's Cottage really comes into its own. The wraparound gardens are a delight, with oodles of space for the children to let off steam. Pick a quiet spot under a tree, relax on a sun-lounger with a good book or sit at the bistro table outside the kitchen with your morning coffee, there are so many choices! Across the lawn, a wooden table and chairs invite you to dine al fresco and rustle up a culinary delight on the barbecue, enjoying the great outdoors spotting the wild and birdlife who frequent the garden.

Surrounded by blissful countryside yet close to the stunning north Cornwall coastline, you will never want to leave your rural idyll.

Tom's Cottage has all you need for a perfect Cornish getaway, including designated storage and a charging area for charging e-bikes. If you do decide to explore the local area there is so much to see and do.

Port Isaac is the shortest of journeys away, famed as the home of Doc Martin and The Fisherman's Friends, this gorgeous fishing village is picture-perfect. To the north, Tintagel, the land of myths and legends, is worth a visit to see the statue of King Arthur, along with the dramatic castle and bridge. Boscastle is another pretty village with its tiny harbour, colourful cottages and an ideal place to enjoy a cream tea (jam first of course!).

Walkers will be spoilt for choice when it comes to hiking. The coast path hugs the coastline in both directions where you can discover pretty villages, dramatic sea vistas and hidden coves for miles. Water sports lovers should head to Polzeath Strand where the Atlantic rollers provide endless fun or perhaps the bustling town of Newquay and the iconic Fistral beach.

For culinary delights , you are in foodie heaven with Nathan Outlaw serving up award winning cuisine in Port Isaac and the foot ferry from Rock will take you across the estuary to Cornwall's Foodie Capital, Padstow or you might prefer to approach it on two wheels by cycling along the renowned Camel Trail from Wadebridge. However you plan to spend your time in Cornwall, Tom's Cottage really is the perfect base for all your adventures.
