This delightful house has marvellous views across the Teign estuary from the enclosed patio and garden, and from almost every room in the house.

For those wanting to relax, this is the perfect spot to completely unwind, lingering over coffee or a glass of wine as you watch the estuary change from hour to hour and tide to tide. The garden makes the ideal space for little ones to let off steam, whilst you while away the hours, whatever the weather, sitting comfortably on the sofa in your beautiful open plan living-room or dining al fresco on your raised patio.

Inside, Sandpiper is super inviting from the glorious open plan living areas and spacious and well-equipped kitchen to the sumptuous bedrooms, two of which have en suite access.

If you can tear yourself away from this magical spot and equally stunning cottage, the beautiful village of Shaldon is only a short stroll away. Boasting several cafes, welcoming pubs and restaurants, this delightful village offers such a relaxing and enjoyable day out. For the little ones, the fabulous sandy beach makes for a great day in the sun.

The village of Shaldon is home to some very special and breathtaking scenery, coupled with endless activity. This beautiful village offers a great day out for all generations as it's ideal for swimming, sailing, rowing and, for the younger members of the group, paddling and rock pooling is a real favourite.

Shaldon's botanical gardens, which are literally on your doorstep, are certainly worth taking a stroll to. Bursting with grandeur and splendour, meandering through these superb gardens, escaping from the hustle and bustle of the outside world creates such a magical feeling of calm and relaxation - sounds perfect!

Or why not venture across the water, taking the oldest passenger ferry in England across to Teignmouth, where you will be treated to another helping of cafes, pubs and restaurants. Teignmouth also offers a great array of bustling traditional seaside entertainment, which is always guaranteed to get you into the holiday spirit.

Located in Shaldon you are ideally located to explore south Devon in greater depth, as you are within striking distance of many other popular towns and villages; Totnes, Dartmouth, Brixham, Kingsbridge and Salcombe, to name just a few of the beautiful hotspots and areas which guarantee something for everyone, all year round.
