This gorgeous seaside home is situated in the sought-after location of Rosevine, within walking distance of the glorious sandy Porthcurnick Beach. Set in large gardens with stunning sea views from the majority of rooms Heron's Lea is a beautifully presented and spacious holiday home with a real feel of style and luxury.

The spacious open plan sitting/dining-room enjoys superb views of Gerrans Bay. In summer throw open the French doors to the south-facing terrace, with a barbecue this is the perfect spot for al fresco dining on the sheltered terrace. In winter snuggle up in front of the toasty wood-burner on the two gorgeous Loaf sofas.

The stylish well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to rustle up simple suppers and with Curgurrell farm shop just up the road you will not be short of some of the finest Cornish ingredients. Selling home grown produce, artisan breads, free range eggs, cheese and locally caught fish and shellfish there is plenty to inspire the chefs amongst you.

Surprisingly for a rural location there are three great places to eat out within walking distance for those of you that don't wish to cook in. The Rosevine Hotel welcomes families and restaurant diners are able to use the swimming pool at certain times; for that special meal out there is The Driftwood with its Michelin starred restaurant and of course The Hidden Hut cafe on the beach which serves food cooked on its outdoor ovens and grills and one not to be missed; do look out for their popular ticketed feast nights during the year. Further afield in St Mawes you will find the glamorous Hotel Tresanton and Idle Rocks Hotel both of which have excellent waterfront restaurants.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there are a wonderful variety of coastal walks to be enjoyed from the doorstep, with the picturesque fishing harbour of Portscatho and a selection of shops, restaurants and galleries only a twenty minute stroll away.

There are many sandy beaches and coves to explore close by, and plenty of water sport activities for the more adventurous to enjoy on this stunning peninsula; sailing boats, kayaks and paddle boards are all available to hire locally.

And for those days out why not take a ferry trip from St Mawes to Falmouth, hire a boat and explore the River Fal, or head off and enjoy one of the many stunning gardens such as Trelissick or The Lost Gardens of Heligan; there is plenty for everyone to enjoy.
