This gorgeous stone cottage is tucked away in the most idyllic and tranquil location; surrounded by fields and woodland, this is the perfect holiday setting to truly escape from it all. Part original cottage and part modern extension, Keepers Cottage is cosy and has the added benefit of a large open plan living-room with kitchen and dining-area with doors out to the large garden. The original cottage living-room has an open fire to cosy around on cooler evenings and is equipped with television and DVD player, to let the kids enjoy a film whilst you relax in the main living-room, lingering over dinner or sipping a glass of wine, admiring your wonderful surroundings. There is a large patio area to the rear of the cottage with outdoor seating and sun loungers available, as it is always sunny on the Isle of Wight!

There are four bedrooms in total; the main bedroom is in the extension and accessed via its own staircase, a sumptuous super-king size bed awaits you, and there's a modern en suite bathroom and a very large picture window framing the meadow and woods beyond. The other three bedrooms are in the original cottage end, a single and two doubles, all beautifully decorated in an original cottage style. There is a family bathroom servicing these three bedrooms, plus an additional shower-room on the ground floor.

There is plenty of off-street parking to the front of the property, for up to four cars.

To stock up on supplies, your nearest shop is Briddlesford farm shop just along the road, full of locally-grown produce, including milk from Briddlesford farm and their own butchery is at the back of the premises. Combine your shopping with a visit to the on site cafe, Bluebells, open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so there's no need to shop at all if you don't want to! They host live music nights featuring their resident band ‘The Herd’, plus other locally grown bands, a great evening out.

Keepers Cottage is centrally located on the Island enabling you to explore everything easily. Newport, the county town of the Isle of Wight, has a wide choice of shops, cafes and places to eat out and is just a short drive from Keepers Cottage. The Island has an abundance of scenic beaches to choose from, all within easy reach of your cottage. The west coast of the island has stunning and dramatic beaches and is a favoured part of the island with surfers and fossil hunters. The east coast generally has more sheltered beaches, many with resident beach cafes offering local seafood. If it’s a traditional Sunday lunch you fancy, the Hare and Hounds pub is just up the road, very family-orientated with a children’s outdoor play area. Arrive at Keepers Cottage and it will not disappoint, we can promise you a holiday destination where you can really take a break from it all.
