TwinYardley is a charming Victorian cottage, set in the centre of the pretty sailing village of Seaview. The beach and local shops are only a few minutes from your doorstep making this property ideal for a small family or a couple traveling with friends or parents.
This two-up and two-down holiday home boasts light, spacious rooms. The kitchen/dining-room, with a handy utility area and walk-in larder, is the perfect spot for family meals, as well as a place to spread out and plan daily excursions. The south-facing sitting-room benefits from comfortable seating and a decorative fireplace.
On the first floor you will find two lovely bedrooms, a double and a twin room. Both feature large traditional sash windows that make the sleeping quarters particularly bright and breezy. The light family bathroom with sea views across to Portsmouth, is equipped with a shower over a large bath. The small courtyard to the rear of the property benefits from an outdoor shower, perfect for washing away the sand after a delightful day at the beach.
At Yardley you are in the very heart of Seaview; indeed everything the village has to offer is just moments away. The seafront, where you will enjoy swimming, sailing and sunbathing, is around the corner from the cottage and the well-stocked community shop just a few doors down. Seaview also offers a popular pub, highly-rated cafe, chemist and Post Office. The natural beauty of Priory Bay is nearby and if your legs need a stretch, the amenities of the town of Ryde are just a 40 minute walk from Seaview (or 10 minute drive).
Further afield there is plenty to explore and see. Head to west Wight to visit the must see Needles, the Military Road offers fantastic views and opportunities to stop and take in some of the views. With quaint villages at Godshill and Brighstone you can pick up any number of footpaths and bridleways - a great way to take in the delightful countryside. Step back in time with a visit to Carisbrooke and take in the views from the high castle walls. From water sports to cycling to castle exploring there is something for everyone to enjoy on the Isle of Wight.
