Double6 Seafield Terrace is a charming, spacious terraced cottage set in the pretty village of Seaview. It would ideally suit a large family, several couples or a group of friends travelling together.
The bright accommodation spread over three floors, boasts a huge sitting-room with plenty of soft furnishings and delightful decor. This is an incredibly friendly holiday home that is wonderfully inviting.
When weather permits, you are likely to gather on the decked patio to the rear of the property for casual meals al fresco but the light spacious dining-room will also accommodate your entire crew. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with everything the cook in the family could ask for.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are all a good size, each one well-presented with a fresh, comfortable finish. Two contemporary family bath/shower-rooms on the first floor, means no waiting in line for a shower.
This holiday home sits right in the heart of Seaview Village. Mere steps from your front door you will find a busy little yacht club, the Old Fort pub and of course, the glorious seafront. Rockpools and sandy beaches feature along this area of coastline, indeed something for everyone.
Along the charming high street is the Seaview Hotel, with both a relaxed pub and an award-winning restaurant for fine dining. Seaview also has a lovely cafe, a Post Office, pharmacy and several other interesting shops. The latest addition to the high street is a well-run and nicely stocked community shop.
For more shopping, Ryde is about a 10 minute car journey away or explore the high streets in Cowes and Sandown for a quirky choice of independent shops.
Head to Compton Bay to take advantage of this dog-friendly beach, which offers fantastic clifftop walking trails through to Freshwater Bay. Compton Bay is famous for its surfing waves, so why not give it a go or enjoy some water sports at Freshwater. There are coastal walks with a great choice of beach cafes or pubs to refresh at along the way. The scenery on this side of the Island is breathtaking, with plenty of beaches to explore you will find something new every day. A visit to the Needles is a must and head back via Yarmouth to explore the quaint shops.
