If you're looking for a property that's practically on the beach, then this is it! 1 Starboard House perches just opposite the beach in the centre of Seaview village and enjoys uninterrupted sea views. A top floor apartment with an external staircase, located on the water's edge, it's great for those wanting a 'bed to beach' home-from-home.

The open plan living-room with kitchen and dining areas has a spectacular picture window with window seating to admire the sea view literally across the road. The property has been recently refurbished with stylish new furnishings making this a relaxing and comfortable place to enjoy the Island's sub-tropical climate! There are views from the kitchen area so even washing up is a joy.

The two bedrooms are bright and airy, a twin and a double. The gorgeous new bathroom is down a short flight of stairs, near the entrance to the apartment. There is also additional soft seating in the spacious hallway.

Seagrove Bay is just around the corner and for those looking to try their hand at sailing, the village yacht club is nearby. When it's time to stop for lunch you have several options within walking distance, The Seaview Hotel or The Old Fort.

If you can tear yourself away from the pretty village of Seaview there is plenty more to see and do across the island. From the iconic Needles - a must visit for anyone - will you brave the chair lift to the beach? Or Cowes where you can stroll the bustling high street and spend some time watching the yachts go by. For history buffs there are castles galore to choose from, most well known is Carisbrooke. It's a quintessential romantic castle with views across the island, the pretty Princess Beatrice Garden and moat. Also you can meet the resident donkeys; having been used to draw up water from the well for hundreds of years.

The island plays host to a plethora of local birds and wildlife - many of which can be spotted if you take advantage of the miles and miles of trails and paths on offer. There is a chance to spot wild deer, the rare Cattle Egret bird or the islands most famous residents - the red squirrels!
