Shepherd's Sky Super Hut is truly unique. This huge shepherd's hut, measuring 36' long, has been lovingly treated to a bespoke make-over, and offers two bedrooms at either end which between them accommodate five guests, a living-area with cosy wood-burning stove, comfy sofa and even a TV for any rainy days.

There is a fully fitted kitchen in one corner with full-size oven and fridge and all the equipment you will need for your stay. The lovely en suite shower-room is along the corridor leading to the spacious double bedroom. The second bedroom consists of a double bed, suitable for both adults and children, with a single bed above (please note that the single bed is only suitable for children aged 10 years or younger) and this room can be made up as two singles if preferred. This fabulous place gives the special shepherd's hut glamping experience to a family as well as for couples of course.

With stunning panoramic views and sunsets, a fully enclosed garden area so that your four-legged friends can come too, this place celebrates being able to be close to nature, surrounded by fresh air and tranquility, but with some perfect home comforts too!

Stockadon Farm, with its historic farmhouse, is on the outskirts of the village of Cheriton Fitzpaine in mid-Devon which has a welcoming, dog-friendly pub, really handy community-run shop and there is an excellent farm shop on the other side of the village too where you can try some local produce and tea and cakes in the cafe. This is a very unspoilt rural area, dotted with ancient farmsteads and threaded with wonderful Devon lanes to explore. It provides the perfect landscape and atmosphere for a shepherd's hut. It just 'belongs' here.

The hut is nestled into the corner of a field, sheltered by the hedgerow behind it and with the hillside gently sloping away to the front where you can literally see for miles. This west-facing site will treat you to the most incredible sunsets as you sit by the fire-pit – the perfect end to a day and if you want to explore the countryside on two wheels, there is storage space for bicycles in a shed behind this fabulous hut.

The owners have taken every measure to make the hut and grounds as 'green' as possible – from using low energy light bulbs to collecting rain water for the garden and from providing boxes and habitats to encourage native wildlife to running the hut off renewable energy via solar panels – they really have gone the extra mile.
