Deep in Cornish countryside but within a short drive of the north Cornish coast, Grade II Listed The Old Dairy has reversed level accommodation and is beautifully furnished, with an open plan living-room, oak-flooring, stylish sofas and chairs, a cosy wood-burner and terrific artwork by three generations of the owners’ talented family.

Down four steps, the kitchen/dining-area has all you need. The bedrooms are very pretty and both have en suite facilities, one has a king-size bed and the other has 'zip and link' beds providing either a 5’ king-size or 2’6" twin beds, depending on your party’s requirements. Outside is an enclosed patio and a fabulous hot tub where, no doubt, sunny evenings will be spent discussing the next day’s outing.

Molly's Barn (2901) is next door offering equally fantastic comfort.

Situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor but with easy access to all parts of Cornwall, The Old Dairy is a great base for any type of holiday. The owners, who live down the lane, also have a large field where kids, and maybe the dog too, can run around, shared with guests at Molly’s Barn (2901). You are also welcome to play football, cricket etc in the field.

For those who like to walk or horse ride, the wild stretches of the moor are just down the road while the north coast, famous for its long sandy beaches for surfing such as Trebarwith Strand or Polzeath, are within a short drive. If you are just looking for a lazy beach day, there are glorious stretches of sand all along this spectacular coastline. Quaint north coast villages such as Boscastle with its quirky harbour, and Port Isaac with its narrow little streets, are just asking to be explored and the south coast is also easily accessed. A well-known local pub is just a mile down the road offering great food.

North Cornwall is renowned for its great selection of high quality eating places and has attracted several television chefs such as Nathan Outlaw, Paul Ainsworth and Rick Stein, all of whom have restaurants within easy reach.

Whether you’re looking for a busy, activity packed week or just a quiet break in rural surroundings, The Old Dairy is the perfect base.
