There is a fabulous open-air swimming pool for you to enjoy. It is not heated but great fun in a wet suit if you are not so brave !

This is the huge, fully enclosed terrace for guests' sole use. Gates from the private parking space lead straight into the courtyard so unpacking is easy.
Orchard Dene is the cottage in the background. The gated steps lead down to the pool from a really large and private sun-trap patio behind the wall.
The cottage fronts onto the little village road, parking is to the left-hand side, and from there you can go straight through to the patio.

The owners kindly provide you with a parking permit for the private car park at Putsborough beach, one and a half miles from the cottage.
Saunton Sands is nearby - a vast expanse of sand to enjoy!
The church is at the heart of this pretty village.
The pretty market town of Bideford.
Woolacombe is magical.
Croyde Beach is loved by surfers.

Excellent location with adjacent private parking. Friendly owners. Two excellent pubs very close by. Grocery shopping in Braunton topped-up by trips to the village shop. Excellent beach at Puttsborough, or just pottering around by and in the pool. We also enjoyed the village fair and the book sale in the village hall....

As always property came up to expectations thoroughly enjoyed staying there again and Mrs Meek is the most lovely host you could have. Always pleasant, cheerful and helpful in every way. The cottage is well placed in the most beautiful part of Croyde and close to the beach of Putsborough. I couldn't wish for anything more I absolutely adore the location. ...
