There is a fabulous open-air swimming pool for you to enjoy. It is not heated but great fun in a wet suit if you are not so brave !

This is the huge, fully enclosed terrace for guests' sole use. Gates from the private parking space lead straight into the courtyard so unpacking is easy.
Orchard Dene is the cottage in the background. The gated steps lead down to the pool from a really large and private sun-trap patio behind the wall.
The cottage fronts onto the little village road, parking is to the left-hand side, and from there you can go straight through to the patio.

The owners kindly provide you with a parking permit for the private car park at Putsborough beach, one and a half miles from the cottage.
Saunton Sands is nearby - a vast expanse of sand to enjoy!

Woolacombe is magical.
Croyde Beach is loved by surfers.

This was a lovely property in a small friendly village. We had everything we needed in the house. Access to local surfing was easy early on in the day but be prepared for lots of cars down tight lanes at busier times. Worth the effort for wonderful local beaches. Would recommend without hesitation....

Fantastic location in a lovely village. Perfect distance to beaches and great to have local shop and foodie pubs so close. Very well thought-out provisions/facilities for guests in the property. We would definitely return and recommend to others.
