The cottage has been beautifully renovated and the fittings and furnishings are excellent with high quality bed linen and towels . The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, so much so that I am ordering the same pillows for myself! Once you reach the main road it’s about 35 minutes to all the major resorts on the coast. Be aware though that to reach the main road and village there is about a mile and a half of single track road/lanes. It’s about 20 minutes to Totnes which is lovely. ...

Gabriel and Katie have created a very special place to enjoy the Devon countryside. Beautiful surrounding in the rolling hills, peaceful and quiet yet easy access to Totnes and many incredible beaches. Everything was of a very high standard; spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, fluffy towels and more. We were greeted with a generous welcome pack of treats, Gabriel and Katie were friendly and responsive to any questions we had. We’d love to come back and would recommend to everyone!! We had a fantastic short stay at Stone Lodge. It was lovely and peaceful with no traffic noise (we live in Birmingham!). Inside it was kitted out to the highest specification (especially bathrooms and kitchen) and felt like a luxurious mini break even with 2 small children. The owners were very attentive and all in all it makes a wonderful base for exploring beautiful south Devon and Dartmoor. Ben's Farm Shop and the Dartington Cider Press are worth a visit!...
