A beautifully furnished cottage with every amenity available. Extremely comfortable beds. Beware of the hills!

Briar Lea made for a very comfortable stay whilst we completed walking the coastal part of The Cleveland Way from Saltburn-by-Sea to Filey being roughly midway with good bus connections either side. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with all you might need. Fylingthorpe is an attractive village with a shop, an inn and a combined baker and butcher called Barnards who also do delicious takeaway pizzas on certain evenings. Their bread is good too. We ate at the Fylingdales Inn four nights which was very good and Bramleys Bistro in Robin Hood's Bay which does excellent steaks. The other two nights we had the pizzas from Barnards. ...
