You can take the footpath up to Restormel Castle (English Heritage) which stands majestically on the hill.
The trendy sailing town of Fowey is well worth a visit.
There's a great choice of beaches to delight along the south coast. Here at Polkerris you can also take part in some water sports.
Take a trip to Lanhydrock (National Trust) with its grand house and beautiful gardens and hire a bike to explore the network of cycle trails.
Explore the delights of Cardinham Woods either on foot or two wheels.

This is a lovely place to stay, especially at a quieter time of year. Autumn in this part of Cornwall is amazing. The cottages here are so well appointed and so private, but also welcoming. We hope to return!
