Coastguards is a lovely quirky house, comfortable and cosy in late season. In a remote location, with great walks to local beaches and interesting sights. Local livestock visit occasionally! Depending how you want to spend your time together, or not, check out the rooms & layout if filling the house for a multi family holiday. Lots of space but split between 3 smaller sitting rooms, one with a cosy fire, one with tv and the 3rd a quiet space with a comfy sofa. Coastguards is a well presented, comfortable property for a family or a group of friends. There is a lot of space, if you want to gather together or find a quiet corner. Our 2 grandchildren loved the window seats. There are lots of lovely walks in the area and the property is very dog friendly. Our party of 4 adults and 2 children experienced on going problems with lack of water pressure, which made showering extremely difficult, and occasionally impossible, due to time delays in water pressure recovery. (Particularly when we all returned from the beach.) Julie, from Classic Cottages, was excellent in trying to resolve this problem, but despite visits from a plumber and South West Water, the problem was unresolved. We hope this can be fixed as otherwise Coastguards is a lovely house....

Peak season in small villages can, sometimes, be a drain on the overall water supply with the volume of tourists in the area leading to occasional drops in pressure.
