Pheasants Rise was a really lovely property set in extremely beautiful countryside, its location to lovely areas of Cornwall made access to most areas was really good.

A very enjoyable stay in Pheasant Rise. The cottage is clean, spacious and an excellent location for many tourist spots including Lanhydrock House, Tintagel Castle in the North of Cornwall and Eden Project on the South Coast. Although not far off the main road the location is very peaceful and relaxing. A lot of thought has been taken into making the accommodation comfortable - well equipped kitchen, household item's ( iron, dog blankets, airer), TV streaming, generous storage, easy parking, safe garden etc. Very easy check-in/out process and communication throughout the stay. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. ...

Having discounted many properties on the coast due to high price we were delighted to find Pheasant Rise…although inland it’s in a great location for getting around, train spotting, woodland walks, Lanhydrock etc and at a very reasonable price. The house was really comfortable and well equipped, lovely welcome goodies and spotlessly clean. Our dog enjoyed daily walks through the many woodland trails on the Lanhydrock estate, as did we…. Access to the main roads meant visiting north or south coasts was equally easy and having supermarkets so close by meant self catering was a breeze. One of the few holiday cottages we would definitely return to! ...

Mrs Sherning June 2024
Pheasant Rise was the perfect sanctuary for our three day stay in Cornwall for a wedding. We were two couples and the layout of the cottage worked perfectly. The upstairs living space is generously and comfortably laid out and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything was beautifully clean and well presented. The bedrooms were comfortable - (if you like to sleep in and not be woken too early by the light, take an eye mask!). The bathrooms are well appointed but if you prefer a shower, there is only one shower room - the ensuite bathroom has a very generous looking bath. Our hosts responded quickly when we were in touch and we very much appreciated the welcome addition of scones, cream and jam. A great spot to stay and we would have loved to stay longer and explore what was clearly a beautiful part of Cornwall. ...

Mr Langford March 2024
Pheasant Rise is in a fantastic location, with Lanhydrock right on the doorstep - perfect for dog walks and early morning runs! In addition, both the north and south coasts are easily accessed from the property. We loved the open-plan living area which was snug and warm, even in poor weather in March. The enclosed garden and the dog rugs and towel provided meant that this place was genuinely 'dog friendly'. The WiFi was good and allowed me to work from the property on a couple of days. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances easy to use. All in all we had a great stay and would definitely recommend Pheasant Rise. ...
