Could not fault the cottage. Ideal location for walks with our two Dalmatia’s on Lanhydrock estate and by the river Great to have a steam train at the end of the drive. Pity we could not just let the dogs out as you to go through two gates to get to the enclosed large garden....

Highly recommend Pheasant Rise. It was the most amazing property and great location for visiting many places in Cornwall without driving too far each day. Owners have thought of everything and we would definitely come back again.

We loved our stay at Pheasant Rise. With two dogs, the house had been thoughtfully set up. The hosts had clearly thought of our every need. There were biscuits, tea, milk and coffee to revive us after a long drive. The location of the property is perfect too with great walks at Lanhydrock on the doorstep and easy access via car to the north and south coasts which meant each day had a different activity and adventure. Cottage is perfectly located for access to both coastlines and access to local walks and nearby national trust property. Very comfortable lounge, large bedrooms and bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen, what more do you need.
